A Wrong Way Sign indicates to drivers that they are going the wrong way on an entrance or exit ramp, and the traffic on the roadway ahead will only move in the opposite direction. 

The Wrong Way sign is often attached with a Do Not Enter sign to prevent vehicles continue driving in.

The Wrong Way Sign is a rectangular-shaped regulatory sign with red background and the word “Wrong Way” in white at the center of the sign.

  • If it is impossible to turn around immediately, pull over and stop, and wait until it is safe to return to the road you were on.
