A merging Traffic Sign (or Merge Sign) warns drivers that they are approaching a point where another traffic lane joins the one they are using, and traffic may merge into their lane.
Merging Traffic Sign is a regulatory sign that comes in diamond shapes with yellow background and a black arrow graphic in the middle.
This sign is often installed before the point where two separate traffic lanes converge into one. A merge sign is also installed at the freeway entrance ramps.
